Beyond the Screen | Design Sprint

Designing Human-Centred Experiences for the Built Environment

This five-day intensive workshop immerses participants in a hands-on design-build experience, where they will collaboratively design, prototype, and install a 2D interactive wall installation. Through human-centred design principles and iterative workflows, students will explore spatial storytelling while gaining practical skills in Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper, and digital fabrication tools. The workshop emphasises collaboration, material experimentation, and professional execution from concept to installation.

FINAL PRODUCT

Overall, I had a wonderful experience working with my team, everyone was incredibly skilled, collaborative, and inspiring. I gained valuable hands-on experience with materials and softwares, developed a deeper understanding of human-centred design and user experience beyond the screen. It was super fun designing something for the university that all the students found pretty cool!
